Anatolia, Yoruk Nomadic storage bag, 100% hand spun sheep wool, weft-faced kilim techniques with multiple soumak bands.  At both ends of bag are embroidered with motifs in the “cicim” technique.  This bag was possibly woven between WWI and WWII when dyes were not vegetable dyes but were chemical and therefore prone to fading.  Approximately 60-70 years old.
