This storage bag from Eastern Anatolia, Adiyaman area, Besni Nomadic Tribe is

constructed of 100% hand spun wool using the weft-faced kilim technique.  Approximately 60 years old.  Soumak bands are decorated with 10 stylized scorpions, the outer borders are stylized dragon motifs.  All colors are vegetable dyes with white cotton accents.  A very important collection bag.
