Amphora
An enduring design, the amphora is an ancient type of storage vessel. It was used to hold wine, olives, honey, grain and other precious items, sometimes buried to keep their contents cool, only to be found a thousand years later by archaeologists. We think you will find the amphora’s classic shape and form has withstood the test of time.
In keeping with European styles, treat well-designed vessels as statues, not always filling them with plants. Outdoors, try using them to frame a vista, define a patio, or mark a pathway. Inside, willow twigs or budding branches compliment the amphora’s scale and shape.
